Environmental Health -virtual activity- November 16th, 2020
Students and teachers from all six partner countries met on November 16th, 2020, to talk about the Environmental Health. At the beginning of the meeting, the main coordinator of the project, Mrs Daniela Rotaru, presented the project idea, its objectives, activities and final results. She also mentioned the fact that Environmental Health can have an important impact on our health and wellbeing. We need safe, healthy and supportive environments for good health. The environment in which we live is a major determinant of our health and wellbeing. We depend on the environment for energy and the materials needed to sustain life, such as: clean air, safe drinking water, nutritious food, safe places to live. Students presented different problems connected to our environment like air pollution, recycling, excessive use of resources, plastic pollution, and they took part in a debate in which they found solutions to all these problems. They also created posters, drawings, flyers in order to illustrate all these situations. Students enjoyed the activity very much even if it was organised online. They had the chance to learn new things about the Environment Health and to meet people from the other countries. They are looking forward to taking part in this type of activities in the near future.
